recommends a hosting service.
Web Hosting Fees are not the same as fees for Web Design /
Maintenance / Management.
Hosting on CVS' recommended hosting service is NOT required for CountryView Studios to design your website or to manage it.
Payment for hosting services is on month to month basis but can be made
available on a quarterly Basis.
If
you also allow your website to be hosted through the hosting service
CountryView Studios recommends, you will find additional
savings including small updating once per month to your website at no charge..
however,
hosting on the recommended service does require CountryView Studios
managing or maintaining client's website either as an established "as
need" basis or via contractual agreement.
If client should choose to
self manage website or have someone other than CountryView Studios
manage their website, website must be relocated to a new hosting
service by client and relocation and any expenses involved will be the
sole responsibility of the client.
Once Client pays for any period of hosting services
there are no refunds
nor reimbursements even if entire period paid for is not used.
If you already have a website, Countryview
Studios can service it where it is located or provide hosting and /or maintenance for your website, even
if we didn't design it.*
*Monthly
hosting fees begin at $8.00 per month depending on size and complexity
of your website(some other aspects may be a determinate as well);
includes minor monthly updating of html content or one or two
basic images.
Since
CountryView Studios may not store a version of client's project and/or
files after project is uploaded to client's hosting server, any work
performed on client's website may be performed directly on website's
hosting server itself. Therefore, CountryView Studio's access
information to that server would be essential if CountryView Studios is
hired to maintain, manage or update the site..
For clients' websites we've designed and maintain,
CVS may include some bonus scripting or content that is non-transferable.
This may include scripting, artwork, graphics or unique content created by CountryView
Studios witho or without charge, and will not be transferable should client relocate website to a
new server or have maintenance performed by anyone other than
CountryView Studios. This non-transferable content may be encrypted.
Whether it is encrypted or not, it is provided as for-use-only
while project is under direct supervision of CountryView Studios and
may be for use only while CountryView Studios is directly involved
in/as client's website designer/manager/maintenance.
