Storefront Website (Non-Ecommerce)

This is your basic Storefront website for the business that wants to fully promote their business, services and products on the World Wide Web with a detailed informational and product display type website.

Your products are not sold directly online with this website, but customer's will see specifically what products and services you provide and offer and they will be able to contact you and even place orders for your products or services though a specially created order form located on your website.

This means you actually will receive full payment for your products or services. When an online E-commerce website accepts payment directly through their website, a percentage of the money (what would have been your income) goes to the online merchant's account service or to an online payment service.

This method assures you receive both your customer's order AND every penny of your customer's payment.

CountryView Studios can also create a BLOG for you for either short term or extended application.

You must provide all of your photos and information electronically, via email or on CD-ROM or DVD.


Photos will be installed as provided. Only changes applied may be simple editing to conform to size or layout if an album or slide show design is used.


If photos require extra editing or scanning, additional charges will be applied.

Prices range from $75.00 for 30 days, $120.00 for 60 days or $150.00 for 90 days depending upon number of pages and size, type or amount of content.

Blogs range from $75.00-$100. depending on level of design and do not have a time period..

Accepting Credit Cards on E-commerce:

If you decide you'd prefer to develop an E-commerce website or a store front website that would accept immediate payment online, in order to accept Credit Cards, you must have a merchant account. If you don't already have one you will possibly need to sign up for one. I can offer suggestions.

  When you accept credit cards directly, the orders from your online store will be emailed to you (in encrypted form), and you can process them as you would any mail or phone order.

You may want to consider a Real-time Credit Card Processing E-commerce Solution.  This is real-time, meaning that the customer enters their information directly on your website and authorization is retrieved immediately. 

You do not have to manually process the orders.

What this means is that when a customer orders from your shop, the credit card information is sent to your online merchant account and processed automatically.  You then get notification of the order and the money is deposited automatically to your account.

Approximate costs:

  • Setup ~ $300
  • 2.25%-3.25% Discount Rate / $.30 Transaction Fee
  • Annual Fee - $600 ( for the transaction gateway)

 There are numerous other ways to receive or accept payments if you are developing a store front website.
Some will not require you to pay an initial and monthly outlay of money but a percentage of the sales instead.
Other methods do not require any loss of income at all, but require a waiting period.

Any price quote for any service by CountryView Studios is valid for 14 days without being subject to change.


Website Maintenance includes updating of text, photos, and other general content. It does not include page redesign or entire blocks of content updated, unless arrangements have otherwise been made.


Maintenance & Updating Services

Generally:  Unless an urgent matter arises, our regular maintenance hours are between 9am and 5pm EST(or DST).

Standard Hourly fee: $15.00 per hour with half hour minimum.


Any work for a client whose website was created by and also hosted by CountryView Studios that requires less than 15 minutes work once in awhile may not be charged for that update.



Basic Maintenance and/or Updating of websites is based on an hourly rate.

Basic work: $15.00 per hour - half hour minimum.

Elaborate work: $25.00 per hour - half hour minimum.

Quite a bit of work can be performed on non server based(SSI), uncomplicated websites in one hour!



Basic work refers to simple textual changes of words, lines or sentence replacement up to 20 lines. Client must provide all text for changes in an electronic format , i.e. email or CD-ROM. 

It also includes simple replacement of photos or graphics that do not require more than simple editing.



Elaborate work refers to major portions of text or sentences or entire paragraphs on one page or multiple pages and may include formatting and editing as needed to fit into the scheme of the page.

Photos and graphics replacement or updating on multiple pages may also include some basic editing and formatting, optimising, resizing, etc., to fit into scheme of pages.

Other options and prices available based on individual situations.

All Maintenance prices are flexible to adjust for your specific needs.

Other maintenance arrangements are available based on individual requirements such as daily, weekly, monthly updating agreements and pricing can be adjusted and is most often much more economical if your need for updating is frequent.

NOTES: 

  • All information, photos and content for your website, other than our design and graphics and layout, MUST be provided by you.
    It MUST be made available to CountryView Studios via email or DVD/CD-Rom.
    All specific and important communications relating to the creation and development of a project for you MUST be in writing by you via email or snail mail.
    •

  • The Design/Layout of your website can be based either on your own specific or general specifications or you may provide CountryView Studios with your content information and leave it up to us to create a website to satisfy your internet needs and personal aesthetic preferences.
    If you prefer us to create the website based on our own experience and knowledge and your information and content and We will design up to three basic layouts schematics for you to consider.
    If none of these suit you, you will then be required to provide your own specifications.

  • After your website is completed and uploaded to a server, CountryView Studios will make certain all aspects are working properly according to the specifications provided during your website's development.
    CountryView Studios will also correct any inadvertent omissions of content or typos or other errors of transcription or scripting related to our original work for up to three days after your website goes "live" online at no extra charge.

  • Per month services provided are not cumulative and do not roll over into following months if not used.

  • You Are NOT required to use CountryView Website Hosting Services for us to develop a website for you.
    For websites located on other hosting services our development and follow up services MAY cost you a little more and there may be some services we MAY NOT be able to provide, depending on that server's restrictions or limitations.

  • Some website use/ownership/control is not transferable from original client to another party unless there is advanced and specific agreement with CountryView Studios.

  • Once CountryView Studios is given the go-ahead to initially proceed on your behalf, a deposit is required.
    If 12 hours or more of work has been applied to your project, that deposit is non refundable.

  • Any references to hosting fees or services that "may" be included with hosting are only when a website is hosted on and by the CountryView Studios hosting service.

  • All websites created by CountryView Studios will be viewable by most current major browsers.
    CountryView Studios, however, prefers to build websites based on the Internet Explorer Platform as we believe IE is the most comprehensively useful browser.

    Certain other browsers in development or not Internet Explorer compatible, however, may not be able to fully display nor appreciate all of the possibilities we can build into your website.

    Separate website pages can be developed to handle new browsers at the client's request, but the additional costs for both development and possibly hosting will increase substantially.


  • Client retains ownership and/or their copyrights of all material, content and graphics provided by and/or owned by client.
    Other work or content may not be transferred or transferable unless there is a specific written agreement stating such.
    Unless otherwise requested by client and agreed upon by CountryView Studios before any work is done on client's behalf,all rights/copyrights/ownership of design and development of any job remains with CountryView Studios, and does not transfer to client. Exception is for those specific Trademarks/Logos/Copyrights and content previously owned and/or legally provided by client.


  • Any provided graphic that is notably re-worked, redesigned, or creatively altered (not just resized or slightly edited) by CountryView Studios may not be owned by client in its (that) new form or format unless requested by client and an agreement specifying and accepting the request is made by CountryView Studios and CVS accepts payment in full for the new work.

  • Changes to Submitted Text.

    Please send us your final text, whether for an update or during the creation of your website.

    Time required to make substantive changes to client-submitted text after the webpages have been constructed will be additional, billed at the hourly rate.
